In front of the Central Council, President Mahmoud Abbas spoke and said a lot, but the one who drew attention to Hamas, and his use of very cruel vocabulary, had used the same to describe other countries of the world, including America.

His speech on Hamas was not expected to this degree of intensity, given what was popular in the Palestinian and Arab airspace, that a unitary direction was crystallized at the initiative of Fatah, when a delegation from its leadership visited Cairo, to open a two -way dialogue … with Hamas .. This revived the expectation of the success of the endeavor that failed over six or seventeen years of division. And with those separated from the Fatah movement in the context of an effort to restore its internal unity.

The president’s speech before the council dispelled all the expectations that were built on a desired unit with Hamas, and through the applause that accompanied this paragraph from the speech, it seemed that the negative relationship with Hamas was an audience among the members of the council, which by virtue of its composition that was created after the last session of the National Council held in Ramallah, seemed a folding framework in his loyalty to the president and for any direction he chooses, and this will also withdraw to his decision regarding his prosecutor regarding his decision PLO presidency.

If the matter will return to the Executive Committee, there is no way to expect opposition to his choice.
