The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the amendment of the dates of the second semester exams for the year 2025 for the classes of transportation and preparatory certificate, with the aim of providing an appropriate environment for exams and ensuring full readiness of educational departments in all governorates. This amendment aims to organize committees and secure schools according to the specified criteria.
Despite the changes on the dates of the transportation classes, the Ministry decided to maintain the preparatory certificate exams schedule as it is, due to the importance of this school stage, which represents a major turning point in the students’ march. Preparatory certificate exams are scheduled to start on Saturday, May 31, and continue until Wednesday 4 June 2025, while exams for the second round for unsuccessful students will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025. The ministry stressed the need for all educational directorates to adhere to this approved schedule, taking all necessary measures to ensure the exams in a calm and safe atmosphere.
As for the amendment of the dates of the second semester exams, this came at the request of the Central Administration for Technical Education, where instructions were issued to all educational directorates in Egypt to implement the new table of transportation classes, which takes into account the distribution of committees fairly and gives departments the time for equipment. According to the amended table, the second semester exams for non -added materials for the total will start on Sunday, May 18, followed by the exams of the first and second secondary grades on Wednesday, May 21, then the transportation rankings in the primary and preparatory stages on Thursday, May 22, and the basic transportation tests will extend from Saturday, May 24 to Thursday, May 29.
The Ministry of Education aims to reduce pressure on educational departments and facilitate the process of distributing the exam committees between the various stages, which contributes to improving the quality of the exam process and gives schools enough time to prepare halls and take into account safety procedures.
The main objectives of the amendment include:
Provide enough time to secure exam committees.
Achieving a balance in the distribution of tables between the stages.
Taking into account the organizational conditions of educational departments.
– Enhancing discipline in schools during the exam period.
The Ministry confirmed that the commitment of the directorates to the instructions will help in organizing the second semester exams better, while preserving the rights of students and providing an appropriate environment to perform the tests without pressure or confusion.
