Ramallah 4-24-2025 Wafa-The Palestinian Central Council decided, with the overwhelming majority, to approve the creation of the position of Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, President of the State of Palestine.
The decision stipulates that the Vice -Chairman of the Executive Committee of the PLO is appointed from among the members of the Executive Committee, with the nomination of the head of the committee and the approval of its members, and he may charge him with tasks, to excuse him from his position, and to accept his resignation.
In favor of the decision, he voted 170 members of the members present in the hall and the participants via “Zoom” technology, while one member voted by rejecting, and another refrained from voting.
