Jesus: I was hoping to win only one goal instead of seven for the safety of Kansilo

Jorge Jesus, the coach of the Saudi Al Hilal team, expressed his grief for his compatriot Joao Cancelo, despite his 7-0 victory over his team, on the South Korean Guangjo FC, yesterday evening, in Jeddah, in the AFC Champions League quarter-finals.

During the press conference after the meeting, Jesus said: “I was hoping to win only one goal without Cantilo, so his absence will be very influential for us,” adding: “We do not know yet the duration of his absence, but we will miss him strongly, and we will search for offensive solutions without him in the next match.”

On the wide victory, Jesus explained: “The opponent was not weak, we are the one who made the match seem easy thanks to the distinguished team performance of the players,” stressing that the team has not achieved anything yet, and said: “We have to focus on hospitalization and preparation for what is coming.”

Al -Hilal coach also stressed that the great result does not reflect the power of the real Korean team, noting that Guanggo had previously excelled over Yokohama, the leader of his group, with seven goals, indicating his strength.

Jesus concluded his statements by emphasizing that Al -Hilal lives constantly under the pressure of the coronation in all championships, considering that this is the “success tax” that the team bears.
