Moroccan international Abdel Samad Al-Zalzouli, Real Betis, gave a historic qualification to the European Conference League final, yesterday evening, after scoring a decisive goal in the first additional half against Fiorentina, during the second leg of the semi-finals, which ended in a 2-2 draw after the extension, taking advantage of his team’s 2-1 victory.
Betis opened the scoring by Anthony in the 30th minute, but Fiorentina quickly responded with a double by Robin Ghosins in the 34th and 42nd minutes, so the confrontation returns to a tie at the level of the total result.
In the first additional half, Abdul Samad Al -Zalzuli managed to score the equalizer, in the 97th minute, to give his team the card to qualify for the first continental final in its history.
It is worth noting that the decisive goal of Zalzouli in the Fiorentina net is his eighth season with Real Betis, and the third in the European Conference League competitions.
Real Betis will face the Chelsea team in the European Conference League final, scheduled for May 28, on the ground of the “Frutsaf Stadium” in Poland.
