Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Meteorological Center for the Meteorological Authority, announced that the intense heat wave that swept the country, starting tomorrow, after it reached its climax today in many regions, noting that Cairo witnessed an unprecedented rise in temperatures, where the great recorded 40 degrees Celsius in the shadow, while the heat was more severe in the south of the country, especially in Luxor, Aswan and parts of Assiut, where The indicators touched 47 degrees Celsius, and Ghanem confirmed, during her talk on the “Last Word” program on ON channel, that the actual feeling of temperatures exceeded the registered values, especially when direct exposure to sunlight or staying in open places for long periods, explaining that from tomorrow, the hot wave decline gradually, as temperatures decrease in northern regions to north Upper Egypt, at a rate ranging between 5 and 6 degrees Celsius, which makes the great in Cairo settling at the limits of 35 degrees Celsius. Despite this decline, “Ghanem” warned of the continuation of high temperatures in Luxor and Aswan, where it is expected that they will remain at levels ranging between 46 and 47 degrees Celsius, noting that the waves of dust and dust will be removed from tomorrow in most regions, except for some parts Upper Egypt where it is likely to continue for a longer period.
