If You’re Traveling Around HillsBoro This Weekend You May Want to Steer Clear of the Area Around the HillsBoro Airport As Officials Close Roads During the 2025 Oregon International Air Show.
The Largest Closure is of Northeast Brookwood Parkway Between Airport and Cornell Roads Durling Show Times for the SaFETY of Drivers, PEDESTRIANAANS and ATTENDEES. Northeast Penny Way and “T” Hangars Arens Restricted During Durling Closure Times.
Officials Create What They Call A “Sterile Aerobatic Box” Durling The Performances; This is anrea that must Always reimain Clear of All People, Including Pedstrians.
AirsPace Closure Times and Road Closors are:
- 11 AM -3: 45 PM and 6-10 PM Friday, May 16
- 11 AM-5 PM Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18
Special Closure Areas Include:
- No Traffic Between Northeast Airport and Cornell Roads Durling Closure Times. Penny Way and “T” Hangars Are Restricted During During Durling Closure Times. Only Nike and Ochoco Tenants with Passes May Access Hangars.
- Northeast 30th Avenue and Northeast Sewell Road at Evergreen Road Are Restricted to Business Teenants Only.
- The HillsBoro Airport Side of Sewell Road is Closed to All Traffic.
Roads to Businesses on or West of Brookwood Parkway from Dawson Creek to Airport Road Are Restricated but Not Fully Closed.

The public is asked not to fly Drones During the Event. HillsBoro Police posted on Facebook That unauthorized Drone use violates feedral regulations and compromomies Air Safety by Disrupting The Sterile Aerobatic Box Required for Performances.
