The seventh round of the Egyptian Premier League coronation group witnessed a great excitement, as three matches were held today, Saturday, which resolved the features of the conflict over the title before the last round.
Al-Ahly achieved a 2-1 dramatic victory over Al-Ahly Bank, in the match that was held at the Cairo Stadium stadium.
Although Al -Ahly’s bank advanced with the goal of Yao Anwar, Al -Ahly turned the table with two goals, to win three precious points, which strengthened its position in the lead.
At the same time, Pyramids continued to chase Al-Ahly with an important 2-0 victory over his host Petrojet, at Petrosport Stadium.
Marwan Hamdi scored a wonderful dualism in the 55th and 63rd minutes, giving his team expensive points on the way to the title.
In a third match, Ceramica Cleopatra starred with a great victory 3-0 over Al-Masry, in the meeting held at the new Suez Stadium, to confirm his strength in the coronation phase.
With these results, Al -Ahly is at the top of the table with 55 points, two points behind the runner -up Pyramids with 53 points.
The conflict is heading towards the last round on May 28, where Al-Ahly faces the Farco team, while Pyramids meets with Ceramica Cleopatra, in two games that will determine the Egyptian League champion for the 2024-2025 season.
