“The Environment” will launch the activities of agricultural guidance campaigns next Wednesday
Under the patronage of the Governor of Taif, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Abdulaziz, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture is preparing to launch the activities of agricultural guidance campaigns in the governorate tomorrow, Wednesday, for three consecutive days, during the evening period from four o’clock until nine in the evening.
Through this campaign, the Ministry aims to enhance societal awareness in the fields of agriculture, plant, animal and fish, by encouraging sound and sustainable agricultural practices, educating workers in this vital sector of the importance of investing in agricultural resources, in addition to urging societal integration, and enhancing the interdependence between the governmental and private sectors in supporting farmers, fishermen, and livestock educators in the Kingdom.
The activities include a group of awareness pillars and specialized exhibitions in which a number of governmental and private agencies participate in the agricultural field, in addition to specialized workshops targeting farmers, livestock educators and fish hunters, to highlight the latest modern agricultural technologies and services, with the participation of a group of specialists and experts in the field of agriculture.
This campaign comes within the continuous efforts of the Ministry to enhance cognitive awareness, to contribute to raising the local product and using resources in an optimal way, in support of the goals of agricultural and environmental sustainability, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 in achieving sustainable food security and comprehensive rural development.
