The friendly confrontation between Manchester United and Wides United, which was held today, Saturday, ended in a negative tie without goals, as part of the two teams’ preparations for the start of the new football season 2025-2026.
The match was held at the “Strober Arina” stadium in the Swedish city of Solna, as part of the preparatory round of the English teams.
Manchester United coach, Robin Amorim, relied on two different formations during the two halves of the meeting, in an attempt to test the largest possible number of players.
The match witnessed the participation of a number of new faces, headed by Brazilian striker Matius Konya, newly joined by Wolverhampton, along with the left back Diego Lyon.
Manchester United continues its preparations for the new season, facing West Ham United in a expected friendly meeting on Sunday 27 July.
