Beirut- Ma’an- Today, Saturday, the great Lebanese musician Ziad Rahbani, at the age of 69, died after a busy artistic career that spanned decades, during which he presented works that formed the conscience of generations of music and theater fans in the Arab world.
Ziyad belongs to one of the most prominent artistic families in Lebanon, as he is the son of Mrs. Fayrouz and the late Assi Rahbani, and he started his artistic career early, to make himself a unique path that combined compositions, playing, writing and acting.
Rahbani was known for his musical works in which he combined the eastern classic, jazz and Western music.
During his artistic career, he cooperated with senior singers, led by his mother, Mrs. Fayrouz, who presented her with dozens of distinctive melodies, and which still hesitate to the minds of the public until today.
Among his most famous songs for Fayrouz (they asked me people, greeted him, Adish was in people, on the roar of the medium, we strip us a lot, how are you, I have confidence in you), and many other works.
