Real Madrid announced on Friday that the contract of its young striker Gonzalo Garcia (21 years) for 5 seasons, to continue with the team until June 30, 2030, in a move that reflects the club’s confidence in its promising talent.
Garcia joined the Real Madrid Academy at 2024 at the age of 10, and graduated among the juniors until he reached the reserve team “Castilla”.
He scored his first appearance with the first team in November 2023, before shining at the Club World Cup this summer, as he crowned the top scorer of the tournament.
Garcia impressed the fans last season by scoring 25 goals with Castilla, achieving the best goal score for the player in the reserve team since the beginning of the twenty -first century, which confirms his position as one of the most prominent emerging talents in the Royal Club.
