In the past days, I was following the international and Arab press, and it seemed to me so far that the news of the organization’s Central Council meeting at its 32nd session did not receive the attention of the international or Arab press in a remarkable way.
With the exception of articles that express known stereotypes, and with the exception of some permanent intellectuals concern about each organization’s meeting anywhere and any time. The general scene suggests indifference, which is a metaphorical expression that indicates frustration with the general atmosphere and despair of the ability of organizations to provide new and beneficial ideas to the crusters under the rubble and under the bombing.
The presidency of the National Council chose a title for the meeting of the Central Council scheduled for Wednesday (neither for displacement nor for annexation – steadfastness in the homeland – to save our people in Gaza and stop the war – protecting Jerusalem and the West Bank – yes to the universal Palestinian national unity), which is a title that is devoid of rhetoric, lacks political focus, devoid of intelligence, and lacks the basics of the political slogan. Your salary and interlocking title has been collected from news titles without guidance and without studying !!
It seems that the address will resemble the same meeting, and after the number of members of the Central Council has been added, the central council will meet to decide to create and nominate the vice president.
The Palestinian public is watched with caution. He is not observing to know who is the vice president, this is something that will not change anything in the life of the employee and the citizen, but rather he is watching to read the performance and role of legal institutions in the organization and is it sufficient to bear the burden of the stage or is it itself a burden on the citizen.
In all the world, and in all legal constitutions, the president chooses his deputy. The American president chooses his deputy and in most of the “democratic” and “semi -democratic” systems. The president has the right to choose his deputy, to create harmony with him in the work and integration in the role … but the Palestinians who do not have a state, a system, nor borders, and do not control resources, nor the salary and cannot prevent the occupation patrols from penetrating their cities and homes, and who have not been elected by our parliament since 2006. Democracy) is more severe than the founders of the democratic states themselves. In such circumstances, the organization decided that it will elect a vice president !! Considering that the country’s problem is limited to the fact that the vice president is elected or has been appointed.
The strange thing is that a number of “democratic” personalities and forces decided to boycott the meeting, given that their presence or absence will affect the title of the social nose of the aforementioned. And their absence or presence will directly affect: displacement and annexation – steadfastness in the homeland – saving our people in Gaza and stopping the war – protecting Jerusalem and the West Bank – yes to the universal Palestinian national unity.
The right -wing parties in Israel are pressuring Netanyahu to solve power in the next August before the year ends and before any new Israeli elections deserved to be not returned to the extremist oath in it. The Palestinian people are 14 million people inside and outside the occupied land, waiting for the next step from the organization to read the face of the near future.
Come forget the title of the meeting, forget the vice president a little, and forget the Israeli elections for the Knesset. We ask ourselves only one question: the next closing statement after the Central Council is held, does it carry anything new?
What is the effect of the statement on the life of the citizen?
Or will he ask the citizen in Gaza and in the West Bank and Jerusalem to stand up and abort the occupation plans?
The citizen is steadfast .. It is important for some officials to stand a little in this country.
