On Friday, the Israeli police evacuated the Al -Aqsa Mosque of worshipers and closed its doors, in conjunction with the army imposing a comprehensive closure on the occupied West Bank, hours after the wide attack by Tel Aviv on Iran.
Witnesses reported to the Anatolia correspondent that Israeli police forces forced the worshipers to leave the Al -Aqsa Mosque after the dawn prayer, and prevented them from staying inside it, without clarifying the reasons.
The witnesses explained that the police later closed all the doors of the mosque, in an unusual step.
The Israeli police or the Islamic Endowment Department in Jerusalem did not make an official comment on these developments until 06:17 (TT).
Simultaneously, the Israeli army imposed a comprehensive closure on the West Bank, and more of its forces pushed it.
The newspaper “Israel Today” said: “Sending many forces to the West Bank to strengthen the existing forces, but the Israeli army did not specify exactly the number of forces that arrived.”
And she continued: “At the same time, instructions were issued for the alert teams (in settlements) to raise the state of alert.”
On Friday dawn, Israel launched a massive attack on Iran called “the rising lion”, during which it bombed nuclear targets in various regions and assassinated military leaders and scholars.
The Israeli army said that it “launched, at the direction of the political level, an accurate and integrated pre -emptive attack to strike the Iranian nuclear program.”
On the other hand, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei – a message he sent to his people – Israel, vowed to “strict punishment”, in response to the attacks.
