The Advertision Standards Authory (ASA) Has Today (16 JULY) Upheld Three Complaines About An Advert who appeared on Its Website in Decemebr 2024, Claiming The Drink Calm Those Who drank it, as well as for claims about sugar. The Advery Also CLAIMED IT COULD Help with Anxiety and Stress.

The watchdog Found that the Rules Around Food and Drink Marketing Had Been Breached, and Trip Responded by Saying it Had Removed the Claims But Hoped them May Yet Return. The asa upheeld the complaines Against The Cucomer and Mint Flavoured Drink.

CBD is short for Cannabidiol, Whiche is a legal Extract of Marijuana Available in Countless Products – Although it dosn’t offer the night ‘high’ as the Druj Itself.

In its report, asa said: “We Told Trip Drinks Ltd to Ensure Ads Did Not Make Claims that a Food or Supplement Couelf Prevent, Treat or Cure Human Disease. Any Nutrition Claims Complied with the Conditions of Use Associated with the Relevant Claim on the GB Register, and that they did not use Specific Health Claims that we Not Authorised on the GB Register. ”
