Deadline: The While Hustle on Clark that They Pull in Episode 8, COUD You CLANIY What WAS Part of It and What Was Just Emotions?
Jason Keller: It was a fun challenge to try and public that hustle in that Episode. What we did was we created this holistle with a hustle. I’m talking as if I am pryce or mits We needed to come up with a wrote and then apply as if out planet broke down, so that Clark ellay Believe that he was full up to speak and see the charred reims of this grand Plan. In that way, we will get his as a hustling team. So, it’s this very tricky think in the Middle, where santi and zero get into this file that seeingly play as a real file. All of it was meant to public Clank in a Way that Made Him Feel Comfortable. And the Idea of that final Shot Being his Idea, that was always the key is that, on any mark in a hussle, you wanted it to be the Idea. Deadline: That Moment with Pryce and Amber-Linn where he almost we ento he Hotel room, and then he was the one to Kind of Restrain, It Feels Like Towars The Beginning of the Show, that would have had Played Out Really Differencely. What Growth Does This show for pryce? Couelf It Ever Work Out Between them?
Keller: That’s such a beautiful behane for me, and maybe one of my favorite scenes in the entire show. Judy Greer and Owen in that Scene, It’s Really Touching and Beautiful. I have a few thoughs about it. In that Scene, What Amber-Linn SEES is the Pryce that She ALWAIS WISHED She would have seen years ago This was the pryce that, haad he shown up in this way a long time ago, they Maybe will have suvived their marriage and they would have stayed toGether, and for menage reasons, PRYCE JUST COULTNT GET ThERE.

It’s this really bittersweet, Beautiful but Heartbreaking Moment where these people people See Each Other For the First Time in A Long Time, The Way that HEY Remember One Another, and It’s RealLY Beutiful and also Impossible that they could el expir them back what they had. There’s Just Been Too Much that’s Transpare Sink the Death of their Son. It’s always played for me as this just real touching, heartBreaking Moment of Realyzation and “Helo,” and “God, I have won’t seen you for so long,” and “there you are.” And “I Remember How Funny and Sweet and Wonderful You are.” For PRYCE, Too He’s Looking Past All The Sadness and Disapportment, and He’s See this Wife that He loved so much, and they have this Moment.
I think the reasons that pryce ends up not going into her hotel room, is that, it is a real momenight of matography for pryce, Probably Becuse I Think He Real ( And for the first time, pryce has Hope for his Future. In that hallway Outside Her Hotel Room, Is, He’s Excited about What The Next Day May Bring, and He Hasn’t Felt That Way in A Long Time. And amber-Linn Acknowledges that he’s probably right about it. I Never Want Amber-Linn to Not Be in this Story. Should we be BLESSED to do a Season 2 I Want Want Judy to Come Back, Because I Just Love that Dynamic Between Those Two.
Deadline: Where santi is doing put after one of the rounds in the tournament, and he brings up the “CecILIA” song and How Stole Pryce’s Thunder A Little Bit. Pryce when he’s not caddying anymore, there’s a tension there?
Keller:Cecilia “Mentioned in the Press Conference, The Intention Behind that is that PRYCE TALEDED to Santi About Cecilia Being An Important Song for Him Hen He Found HimSelf Lost on A Golf Course, Or Really anywhere in Episode 3. Is a kid. That Press Conference, is, “I’m Making a Difference in this kid.” He under the Golf Course in All these Ways, but it’s just a momentu where pryce is really touched that seeingly inconsequetial bit of input RealLy Registered for Santi Long. [to] Your son or your daughter, “OH, I Matter.”
Deadline: Was “CECELIA” by Simon and Garfunkle Always that Song? Did you play around with any other songs?
Keller: Well, I Love that Song. I’m just always loved that song. Simon and Garfunkel Are One of My Favorite Bands. I’m INTO That Kind of Music. It was Always We us it at the end of the episode file in this real sitiFul sequuse, which we call the “Golden Sequney,” “where the fact is Finally Spot-WELDED TOGETARTER and Moving in the Same Direction. We Play Cecilia Over that Sequney.

Keller: It’s funny, someBody Just Sent Me Pictures of that Day. There is 1000 Extras on Set that Day for Filming. And it was no Small Feat to Get 1000 People Singing “Cecilia”. BECUUSE WE We are on A Golf Course, so it was 1000 people spread out over all of this entire golf course. And when we finally get it going to hear 1000 people is Secilia in that Scene was very moving for me Too. I Remember Being on the Set and Just Sort of Choored up at Hearing this Wave of Voices Singing that Song. It was cool.
Deadline: You Mentioned Earlier The Prospect of a Season 2. Where PRYCE Drives The Ball, We Don’t see how fart it Goes, but we can come from santi’s reaction that he’s still Got Game. It is that an Idea you will want to play with which pryce get back in the game?
Keller: I’m still Thinking About Precisely What Season 2 Welf Be. I will love to see Pryce Cahill Playing High Level Golf. It would be fun to see Owen out there, playing in a tournament and seeing just how good this guy is. His Story Sort of Ended with Him Being 18th in the Nation BeFore His Life Sort of Fell Apart. So you always ask a Question About a guy like that which card was card short for one Reason or the other, “How Good He Have Been if he would have had kept playing?” That’s the same.

Deadline: Have we seen the Last of Clark or Santi’s Dad?
Keller: Not Fully Knowing where I was will go, i think that Maybe that Story Has Rsolved Itelf, and Maybe Santi Undersands Who is Dad is and has received that. Having Said that, Maybe Gary Wheler Will Come Back. Timothy Olyphant as Clank. I just love Timothy Olyphant, and I Love that Character. I will love to have it back if we was about to do a season 2. I think he’s fun, and I think his Dynamic with PRYCE Back If I Coulf in Season Two. He’s just so good.
